Well dealership just called.. Trans is coming out :-( He said it would be about 2400$ for the repairs. I dunno if I just want to buy a new transmission for 1800 or just do a rebuild.. Ordering the BEAST right now!!

Why not just buy the entire trans from Monster? They have some smoken' deals on the Mega Monster 4x4 transmissions right now. Way cheaper and stronger than the OEM.

This is about the only pic that will really show anything. The 06/07 use a sensor in a CNC fitting placed in the lower radiator hose, I cut about an inch of hose out to accommodate the fitting, and used my own T Bolt clamps.

The wiring harness for the fan splice the control leads into specific pins (color and pin location) in the lower fuse box and I did not take any pics of that when doing it. Hardest part is to correctly snap the top of the fuse panel to the lower harness connectors.

The power leads attach to the two main + and - at the upper Left of the fuse block shown in this pic.

Well GM offered me a remanufactured trans from GM with 100,000 warranty.. for $1800. Guess the warranty sold me. I was looking at 2 week shipping for the Monster trans and $2,074. That does not count the 2 weeks for a rental also.. Bummer!! I wanted the monster trans...

Is the $1800 installed? If so, that's not bad at all.
