HELP!! Repeated Inner CV Boot Tears!!
#11
Six years ago or so the general consensus of the H3 off road community was that 24" was the max. After a few years of wheeling like that it became apparent that even 24" was too much as guys were tearing up half shafts, CV boots, front diffs, and half shafts would pop out from the inner end destroying the shaft splines. Street Queens might be able to get away with that for a while longer.
23.5 -23.6" is about as much as you can go without breaking your stuff.
Your aftermarket keys can stay in, if they will allow you to back out the T Bar bolt to the lower position and still have thread through the Keys.
Almost forgot, you will need an alignment after the adjustment.

Thanks guys. I had read on another forum that people were able to 27.... however 24 seems like a very real solution. I am going to start working on this Friday and will see how it goes. Any other suggestions? Since I am familiar with removing/installing the axles should be a little quicker this time lol.

That would be with a real lift kit, like a Rancho that lowers the front diff. while lifting the truck. You're never going to get there with Keys, spacers and shackles.
