Default Help with model identification

Hi there.

I'm in the process of purchasing a 2006 H3 & I'm trying to determine if it is the adventure model or the luxury model.

It is black with factory installed light colored leather seats. It has heated seats, power sunroof, side running bars, appears to have power everything, dvd system built into the headrests, brushguard in the front, onstar, chrome trim around the windows, etc.

I have the vin and a handful of pictures. Any way I can find out which model it is?

Thanks,

Jay

Look at this pic of my T Case buttons for my adventure. If you do not have the button to the right of the Air Bag On/Off display, the illuminated one with the 4 wheels and an X in between the two rear wheels, (this is the rear diff. E locker button), you are looking at a lux.

The 2006 I'm getting only has 25k on it. Almost all 06 H3sI looked at had 45-50k on them. We're almost into 2009 so having 33k on an 07 isn't horrible. It's just a little over the average. If all goes as planned mine should be arriving tomorrow.

Looking at the tires and the dash here.. Tread on the tires looks like the 32s not the 33s that come on the Adventure. On the dash I can't see a button on the 4x4 Control panel for the locker.

I'd have to say it's a Lux without the Offroad Package.

The Offroad add on will get you a locker and a 4:1 transfer case. You can have an e-locker put in for about $1200. The transfer case will set you back a bit more, I'd guess $2000-$4000 for parts and labor
