Default H3 Maintenance Suggestions

Looking for people to share ideas on how to make your H3 (or any vehicle) last longer? My mechanic just told me to add Lucas gear oil when I get my oil changes. Any other ideas?

ROYAL PURPLE 75/90 in both Diff's, pour CLEAN SHOWER through the sun roof drains to prevent clogging ( drains clog more in dryer climates because of less flushing ), change transfer case fluid every 20 K )

Do not wait five years to change DEXCOOL and add two bottles of PURPLE ICE, add a drain plug to tranny pan when filter is changed and frequently change the DEXRON VI even though it is less than half the total fluid, full synthetic motor oil ( I prefer MOBIL 1 ) and do not wait for OIL LIFE indicator, only use WIX oil filter

Not waiting for the Oil Life Monitor System to tell you to change your oil is a choice uninformed people may make, but if you like to **** away $$ on extra not needed oil changes, go ahead.

Thanks for the "go ahead" Doc! Have you ever done any lab analysis on oil with over 5K vs 3K ? I have. Also, I am expanding my vocabulary by reading you'r well worded postings.
