Default H3 experts, where to start?

Bought an '06 with a dented driver's door and lft front fender and grill crumpled up. I replaced the door with a salvage door. Did ball joints, tie rod ends and she runs and drives great. I like it, it's a keeper.

I'm having power window problems.
1) Driver's door sometimes will not work, but will sometimes work if I turn
the H3 off completely and slam the door. It is a intermintant prob
2) Three windows (rt rear won't) will go down with the master (driver's
door) but will not go up. I can reach over and use each window switch
and they will roll up.
3) I have tried two other 'master panel' (multiple window/door lock on
driver's door) and still no joy.
4) Remote lock will not work
5) Doors do not lock automatically when underway (don't know it they
should, tho)
6) Right rear window, no worky.

I have not torn into this problem(s) but thought maybe someone here could direct me on where to start

Thanks

Oh, green

Bad connector harness in the donor door or bad connection in between the door and body would be my guess. Maybe a bad BCM also. You don't know how long it sat in the rain or snow with the damage.

check all the pins in the connectors to the switch, make sure all are seated and not pushed out. Check the harness in the drivers door jamb for a broken wire. GL

The BCM (body control module) is in the passenger side kick panel. Check for moisture when you remove the plastic kick panel.

Thanks guys, did a little search and found 'cures' from Feb. '09. I guess I'm not the only one to have this problem. Whole list of things to try tomorrow.....check batt connection, pull fuse #8 and reset, reset relay #68, remove batt cables and touch them together for at least 5 minutes(?), then clean/grease dr. door connector. Relay 77, swap it with another, and......

I let you all know tomorrow nite

Thanks again

Touching battery cables together does..... absolutely nothing, H3s are not Fords.

While you are messing with the battery cable, might as well replace the POS OEM battery terminal connectors with a quality aftermarket set..... first mod that should be done on every H3. Search it out for more info.

Default stinger terminals

As others have mentioned, stingers are good terminals. I just installed some on my H3.
