I was having a rock chip repaired over the weekend and the technician told me that my '06 H2 was missing the windshield top moulding. I ordered one directly from GM and my question is, how do I install it? Does it snap in or do I have to use an adhesive? Also, is it possible that this is attached to the windshield and installs together with the windshield? I bought the truck used so the windshield may have been replaced, I'm not sure. The only thing I see on top of the windshield is a 1/2 " valley between the glass and the roof that is filled with black shiney tar. Thanks for any help or advice.

 

You need to glue it to the top of the glass with glue. Your glass shop should do it for you.
