Anyone have a tonneau cover
#22
I need a tonneau cover in the so bad, but cannot seem to locate one. Anyone have one that I can buy or have any suggestions on who might have one. I can't even find an aftermarket one, let alone a OEM.
Please feel free to call me at 317-407-3704 if you have one to sell.
Thanks again for everyone's help and suggestions.

Hello,
I am also in the market to buy a Tonneau Cover for my 2006 Hummer SUT. I have searched high and low, and have been unsuccessful. If anyone knows where I can find one, or would be willing to sell theirs, let's work out a price!
Please send me a message!
Thanks!

Like most of you, I too am in need of a Tonneau Cover. Didn't realize it would be such an issue when I bought my '08 SUT. I absolutely L O V E this truck but the wife is all over the fact that I can't store anything in the back. You would think, somebody would jump all over the idea and create a substitute but I guess the search continues. So if anybody knows of anyone selling a cover for a substitute, prefereably lockable, I'd greatly appreciate the insight. Email Cubanese@hotmail.com.
Thanks!

build one yourself!
materials: 4x8 foot sheet of 0.25" diamond plate aluminum, two ~3 foot sections of aluminum angle, couple of bolts for cut out tabs of aluminum for tightening against the underside of the top of the bed sides, a grinder and cut off wheel and a MIG welder with aluminum rod and a spool gun (is possible without this pricy addition to your MIG unit, or just TIG it if you know what you are doing).
a massive piece of cardboard helps to mark and cut out the shape of the bed first and then trace that on the aluminum.
Finish with aluminum primer spray can x2 coats and what every color paint you choose x2 coats.
