I'm going to get the H2 tinted here in the next 2-3 weeks but my question is if I use a metallic tint will there be any issues with the XM or Onstar. I know the radio antenna is exterior so that wouldn't matter.

The guy offers non metallic tint also but its more expensive, however if its a better quality tint I will pay the extra money either way-just want to know if the metallic tint will cause any issues!

 

You shouldent have any problems with the Metallic tint for the XM or On-Star. I also have Metallic tint on all windows of our truck, including the full front Inside windshield, though its against the law to do it, no ones ever pulled me over for it. its been on the 2004 H2 and just had it replaced with the same tint, 2 months ago (was starting to fade out).......

I also run a Escort Battery Operated Radar dector, visor clip with no problems........
