It is on the side of the headlights and it is not connected.

maybe

if its hooked up to your lights it might be part of a light upgrade ,

Had if its not hooked up

I just installed Sylvania ultra 9007 lights and now they are not connected to it.

i does look like you had hid light system and now that you hooked up 9007 upgrade bulb you dont need the hid hook up any more. thats just my guess
