Transmission drain plug
Hi all, went to drain some trans fluid since trans was a little overfilled, and as my luck, rounded off the drain plug nut, know I have to get a new one, but any ideas on how to proceed getting this plug out ? or maybe pumping fluid out thru the fill tube with some type of pump ?

Thanks, but already tried that before the post, but just could not get a good grip, just kept rounding it off more. may just have to take the pan off !! I also tried the pump down the dipstick tube, but could not get a suction. thought about taking a line loose and just pumping it out, but I can see that making a real mess.

Removing the oil pan , will be a nightmare, if you dont reinstall it correctly, you will have major leaking of oil.

I had a muffler shop, quote me 3 hours to install my AFe catback, I actually laughed in his face and left..
I did the install myself, start to finish, 1 hour 45 minutes...
It is their job to rip you off, what do you think they are gonna do, that you can't. .
Get yourself a plumbers pipe wrench, that with tighten on the bolt, when you turn the wrench, whereas vice grips, only apply the amount of force, that you clamped it on with..
The right tool, makes all the difference. .
Sucking the fluid out is ridiculous..
