I currently have a 2007 H2 Sut and want to know is it woth getting a 2008 I like the new Interior and the larger engine but is it worth trading my current truck for one. I dont want to spend another $10,000 if there is no reason or if basically if they are the same. I just want to see what you guys think.

Wow I would love an 08. You should test drive it to see if you like it.

 

If you can do it get the 08. Love the rear seat AC. I would just test drive and see.
Downside- the interior gets more Caddy than Hummer.

 

I appoligies I have and SUV I did not catch that. If I do and upgrade I will get and SUT. I figured the truck would be better towing my boat with its new 6.2L V8 But I have alot of money in upgrades in my current one I love the New look its cool. I am really debating spending $40,000+ on a car that I wont drive that much.

 

I would think it would be a great upgrade. I hear they are nice. I would buy an 08 or 09 but the only place around that would have any is Independence Hummer in Charlotte and they are a joke and way too high.

 

I been talking to the owner of Independence Hummer in Charlotte. I was hopeing you guys would talk me out of this but damn. I think I might have to do this I like the new style so much and they are not making them no more I got to move on this.

 

Oh on the truck I would do it. I bet they are nice.

If your dealing with the owner then go for it. I just know the sales staff has treated me like crap so I went to another place and bought one. That is the worst place in my opinion to walk up and try to buy a vehicle.

 

i have in service both gens of the h2 i have a 08 and also a 05 thru 07s
The 08 with the 6.2 and 6 spd trans is A better Driver and cures alot of the inherent problems i have found in my older H2s
the older ones with the 6.0 and 4 speed work harder to get to speed and theres a larger gap in the gear ratios between 2n and 3rd gear.The 08 with the 6.2 and 6spd tranny runs easier,And gets better MPG on the highway.Also the interior and HVAC setups on the dash just work better flow more Air out of the vents and the interior is more comfortable IMHO.
If the upgrade price is right i would do it all day.

 

No kidding I just like the looks inside If I am going to gain highway miliage that would be awsome I am really going to look into it as soon as i get back. I still like my 07. lol.
