Hello I am new to the site and have only been an H2 owner for a week. I have an 03 and so far I love it. OMG...they love gas. Anyway, I need more room in the back. Is there a rear tailgate mounting kit sold anywhere so I can mount the tire outside the truck.

 

You might find on on EBAY or Kijiji. I bought one of Kajiji for $500.00

 

I have an OEM 1 and having the extra room is great... I know a couple guys with this 1

I bought mine off Craigs List for $300. I see them going for $300-$500.

 

Where are you located? I have one that came off of my '03 I'd be willing to sell. It's the complete kit, including the plate relocator and the exended D-ring bolts you need to mount the carrier itself.

CA probably isn't going to work. The shipping would absolutely eat you alive with me shipping it from TN. I would check ebay and craigslist to see if you can find one a little closer to you.

Hey Golf, I just purchased an 03 with a Swing out Spare Tire Mount. I am going to be pulling the Tire mount off in the next 3 days and getting it sold. Its in near perfect condition and includes all of the parts. I could let it go for $400.00 plus shipping, I would estimate about $50.00 on the high end. Let me know if you are interested. I will even include the Tire Cover with it, as shown in the picture.
