Default size body lift for 37s?

I have a completely stock 2005 hummer h2 (stock tires are 33" BF Goodrich all terrain Baja Champions) and want to put 37" Nitto trail grapplers on. Money isn't unlimited so I am looking into a body lift because they are less expensive than suspension lifts. Looking to do maybe a 3 inch body lift with leveling kit. Will this be high enough for the 37s? Also what brand is good? Thanks.
P.S. I am looking for a 10000-12000lb winch to put in a cradle mount in the 2in receiver in the front. What winches are good and reliable for about $600? Brands like traveler, superwinch, or smittybuilt?

Stock are 35's, 37's fit many 2's just fine without any lift other thank maybe some cranks on the keys.

Thanks, so I should definetly be safe with a 3" kit. Also any opinion on a winch. Thanks.

3" would be plenty. I think some guys on the other forums run upwards of 40" tires with 3" lifts/body lifts on theirs. As for a winch I couldn't tell ya. I've been wanting to get one but haven't given them much thought.

I would go with a 2" body lift maximum. 3 will be too much. You will have some huge gaps between your bumpers that will look like **** and prob see the mounts themselves with a 3. Plus it's way overkill just for 37" tires.

38" MT tires with 1" body lift, GM green keys cranked 2" and 2" rear coil spacers.

Citiboy, question I want to get 37 X 13.50 X 17 (or 18) Toyo M/T, would I have any problem mounting the 13.50 wheels, not planning to lift it, keeping it stock.

I don't think you'll have a problem with the 37's on a stock 17" wheels. With the 38's, i still have light rubbing on the frame at full lock, even the stock tires rubs at the sway bar.

3" body lift wont be simple on an H2 (don't even think they make one). I would just do keys and small spacers...you'll easily be able to fit 37s with that, and it's cheap.

Just put the 37" without any leveling .. the tires will fit anyway also the 37" will make ur h2 higher than your 33"
