Personally I think 9 inches is too narrow, looked funny on mine.

The real question I have is, are you planning to take it off road? I look forward to hearing how they work out for you if you get them in any case. I've read alot of bad reviews on them and very few good reviews. My research was almost strictly among the off road forums I belong to

I ordered some XD Revolvers today for mine, 17x10 gonna wrap them in either Dick Cepek or SuperSwamper tires.

Yeah I think it's to narrow also. I don't know if a 12 inch wide tire would work to well with them. I just don't know about me offset and stuff..... Stock is 8.5 wide right?

Correct, OEM is 17 x 8.5

I like the wider ones it really changes how it handles too, I find myself in alot of sand and loose dirt off road and I need the extra width for flotation.

I don't disagree with anything Gleamor said....

BUT....

I have 41x14.50-17 on 17-9 XD Revolvers with 4.53bs.

Muddy,
How in the hell do you lift that tire off your roof rack? How much would you say the rim and tire weigh?

I have strong friends....

It's not as much as you would think 101lbs for the tire and around 32lbs for the rim... some liquid balancing... and it's under 150lbs.
