Hi guys please bear in mind i'm in the UK . My engine check light is on and i don't have onestar support and after visiting a number of large garages locally it seems very unlikely i will ever get a fault code because they all say their diagnostic machines are not programmed to read Hummers .

Any way i do have a mate that can clear the fault so the light doesn't show until the next time i fuel up . So guessing the filler cap is the problem i searched google and got a fair number of results suggesting to change the cap is to solve the problem .

My truck is 2002 so i can't be sure the filler cap i've got is the original and searching for a replacement shows loads of different types .

Would someone be kind enough to post a pic or a link to the original cap and possibly recommend a trusted seller ?

Just to be sure it's the inner cap i assume to be problem not the locking billet external fuel door , am i correct ?

Thanks Phil they asked for my VIN so it should be right and i ordered it yesterday . Can't get Hummer parts in the UK (unless i pay 3 times the price) and having waited 3 weeks for a replacement drivers door master switch from Ohio only to receive something broken beyond repair has made me a bit cautious .
