Question to the ones that put roof light on!
#2
Here's mine. Can't see it but I ran the wires through the corner cab light and down the driver's A-pillar. RTVed the crap out of the bung plug for the cab light, so far so good.
It's only a 50" bar so I mounted it directly to the front luggage crossbar. I keep it full forward to shorten the wire run on the roof. Makes a lot of noise with the sun roof open so it doesn't get opened much.
I used the mount hardware that came with it. I split the rubber channnel of the crossbar on each side where the bolts would go, cut out holes for the bolts in the rubber, mounted the bar brackets, then slid the outside pieces of the rubber channel back in place. The bolts and washers fit in the U-channel inside the crossbar for securing the brackets on. Bit of a reach for the wrench for tightening the nuts but it all worked.

i did the same as the above image, only mine is sat in front of the crossbar and not on top of it. Hid the wires the same way. It means you have to bend the bracket a little to match the curved profile of the crossbar, but i prefer it a little more snug to the body. I thought it might save on whistling, and heck, maybe 0.1 of an mpg

Dammit LoJac, you need to open a shop where we can get this kind of quality work done. Your attention to detail just blows me away. First on my list when I bring my truck in: diesel conversion. Get right on this, will ya?

That was my first time using any type of fiberglass. It was actually a short hair filling material that I roughed in then used just a small amount of bondo to get everything smooth. It was a royal PITA to be honest.
Diesel conversion I would kill to have! Add an air parking brake while we're at it!!
