Price Advice - 2005 H2
I found the H2 that I want . .
2005, Pewter, 60K miles, 3rd row seat, navi, front chrome bar, and side step chrome bars - and importantly a CLEAN carFax report.
Dealer is asking $24,998. Do you think I can walk away with it for $22,500 or is that too much of a break?
I have read that there is much more room to dicker on used cars than brand new cars . . will they laugh at me for wanting $2,500 off of a used car?

KuyaRomeo,
May I suggest you look on http://www.autotrader.com and http://www.nadaguides.com to assist you in your research. Just plug in the 2005 H2 and both will give you some informative feedback. Autotrader will provide you with a general asking price of what dealers and private sellers are asking. Nadaguides will provide you with a "ball park" figure of what both wholesale and retail figures are being used.
These sites have been beneficial to me; however, remember they are just guides and nothing else. If you are thinking of offering $2,500 less than the asking price, then you will want to have some type of basis for your offer. Just a thought and best of luck.

I got my 05 that was for $24,995 for $18,320. It had a lose oil filter and was leaking oil when I checked it but didn't tighten it just yet. TOld them it had a bad oil leak and my credit union would only do that out the door. So $1,500 down for TTL and the loan got my H2 home last year. Got home and tighten the MFer up and no issues. Doesn't burn oil and leak anywhere. So to answer your question, yes you can.
