Default People who have regeared...

Where did you buy your gears from? I ordered mine from Trailduty nearly 3 weeks ago and they still have not shipped. Not gonna wait much longer.
So who any advice of a different place to look would be appreciated.

What ever came of your order?
Did you get the swap done yet?
What gears did you go with, tire size?

I still ordered the install kits from them but got the gears from summit. They were cheaper and a brand I knew of. Not to mention they showed up after only two days.

I have 37s and went with 4.56. Haven't installed yet.

Summit is great. I ordered my shocks through them.
Mind posting a few RPMs for different speeds. This is something I might look into in the future, but not sure yet.

Did you have 3.73 or 4.10 gears?
The 09s only came in 3.73, so I had no choice.

I have 3.73. Don't really understand why something that was already underpowered came with those. I'll take some pics of rpms tomorrow. Hoping to have the gears done by then. Should be about 2000 rpms at 75mph I'm thinking

That would be better or equal to what I get now, lol.
If I break 70mph (litterally hit 71), it jumps from about 1800/1900 to over 2000. I'm only running 35s.

Yeah basically I can't stand the inability to hold 75 mph
Goes from 1700 rpm or so to 2300. Gets annoying. Supercharger has helped but 37s and 3.73 is not a good combo

Are you guys saying that if you're on flat highway and doing 75mph it won't stay in overdrive?

No, on flat highway it will. But a bump in the road will kick you down to 5th gear. With larger than stock tires anyway. I've never driven an H2 with stock size tires so I'm not sure about that.

Do you have any idea how much our speedometer is off by? I can't imagine much since 35-37" isn't a huge jump.

When I went from 32-35's on my excursion it couldn't hold overdrive at all until I regeared.
