Default nipples

Replaced front and rear diff oil. Man that stuff stinks.
Also did an oil change
I was trying to find the grease nipples but so far I found 6 of them on the front end.
Someone wrote that there are 18?? of these on the truck.
Can someone tell me where they would be?

Also I reset the oil thingy and 30 miles later on my way back from town the computer read out (with mpg, miles till empty etc) went bezerk.
It kept going through all the menus by itself. Anyone had this before?

OK, you got my attention with the Thread Title and now I'm sad.

A little useless trivia for ya: The "nipples" are called Ball End Grease Fittings or Alemite Hydraulic Fittings (not "Zirk" fittings).

no problem, I'm trying to remember off the top of my head. Most of them are visible just by looking around. The others are up high on the steering arms. I'm pretty sure I got all of mine greased the first time I did it. Almost time for round 2 but I need to replace pretty much everything since all the dust boots are bad.

I thought this thread was going to be a question about the boob air conditioning vents on the dash.

How many miles were on your ride when you did the fluid change? Also what kind of fluid did you use?

9 looks like inner tie rod and 12 shows the oil filter.

I have 53k on mine and I used Amsoil severe gear 75W90.
AMSOIL Online Product Application Guide GENERAL+HUMMER H2+U

Also did an oilchange with amsoil 5W30 extended drain interval to 22500 miles with a filterchange in between.
By the way who engineered the oil filter that deep in there where it is almost impossible to tighten it down?. However it is well protected this way.
