New LED's now no cruise
#11
If you have the full LED tails they should have come with plug in resistors. At least mine and other members lights did. The instructions say not to install them for 03-07 H2's but I did anyway and they didn't affect anything. Probably why I don't have problems with my cruise control.

I bought LEDs bulb replacements, of course no resistor and cruise control.
If I get time I'll investigate/experiment, also on a similar note read this concerning LED indicators the 50W 6R resistor is gigantic!

I have the full panel LED tails. The small resistor boxes didn't have any markings on them and they just plugged into each light by a small pigtail harness separate from the actual light plugs. I do know you have to be very careful where you mount in line resistors because they typically become very hot.

I found an old thread on another Hummer forum that said you need to put 6w Resistors in line on the wiring harness. I have not tried this yet (lack of time), but I feel confident it's the right fix.

Seriously though if I get time I will investigate what the minimum value resistor can be though I suspect it will be 6 Ohms.
