Making the change from ford

I wanted hte global windows option. A friend has it on his GMC Sierra, and says it's not as great as it sounds, though. The 3rd row seat is definitely nice, as is the external tire, even with the added hassle of swinging hte tire out to open the rear hatch. I'd honestly probably travel without it just as you say if it wasn't mounted externally.
Anyway, leaving to see the blue one now. The interest rate on hte financing is very low, so I may go that route as well. I like the brush guard, so if I get the blue one, I'll be looking to add that.
The plastic looks faded on the blue one on the front. I was thinking i could take it off and spray it with a black primer to freshen up the look. Has anyone done that?

As odd as it might sound...... Penetrol (made by a company called Flood, the orange can - get it at Lowes, etc) paint conditioner works amazing on vehicle plastics. On my older truck I have have tried tons of different chemicals and so far nothing works as good or lasts as long. Jeep folks discovered it works for this years ago, google it...

I have had Yokohama's on my Sierra for about 15000 miles now. Looks like I might have 5000 left on them. Nowhere near as good as the BFG AT TA KO's I had on it before which are the original tires for the H2's. The set of BFG's I had on my Sierra lasted me 55,000 miles and were much better. Those are what will be going back on it once I wear the Yokohama's out.
Man that blue H2 is sharp! Yeah - grab a nav disc on eBay as flyday linked.

I have to look but if they're the same as what I think, they are going to do quite well. I had 2 pairs on my excursion, lasted about 40k miles and virtually unstoppable. Did pick up a piece of 8" rebar once, but that was the only issue I ever had.

It took me a bit tof igure out the numberss on the rear inside. It's distance to the obstical behind me for the backup sensors, in addition to the beeps. That's pretty slick, I like that feature.
Does the nav disk go into the dvd slot? can you have the nav disk in along with cd's and dvd's?
I want a backup camera. Is it plug and play that will automatically switch to a video source when I put it in reverse? Is it a standard power & RCA, or some special plug?

Inspection failed! Steering box is leaking, top seal it looks like. Transfer case wires were eaten through. Evap hose chewed through. Back of oil pan leaking oil. Trans fluid level sensor circuit failure. Dealer said they would take care of it, but I have to drop it off. They said they'd provide a loaner, which I'd expect nothing less for what I paid.
