Hummer H2 For those who like a little more gleam to their Hummer, the H2 offers a similar rugged look as the H1, but as a lower cost, and with more added features, making it almost a massive luxury SUV.

Another small update. I've had the billet side vents in my garage forever. The chrome was tore up from a seller I bought them from back east. I finally got them cleaned up, painted, and installed. Interesting look..

Decided to take the plunge and rip all 4 doors apart. I installed new speakers and door stops on all doors. I can't believe how quiet the front doors are when you open and close them. No more popping from the old worn out door stops.

Also installed billet door buckets with new chrome handles. These look so much better than the sun fried plastic buckets:

Finally installed green keys to level the old girl out! I reinstalled the bolts at the same length they were at with the stock keys. The front was raised 3" total.

Finally upgraded my tie rods to the DMax Heavy Duty Tie Rods. For the price they couldn't be beat. These things are HUGE compared to the stock tie rods. My stockers were utterly shot, boots torn to hell and flopping all over the place. I also installed 1" longer hex swar bar end links and sway bar bushings with zerks to grease them.

Here's the parts:

Stock vs. DMax tie tods:

Stock end links and new end links:

Couple pics of everything back together:

Installed a 100 watt PA for the hell of it. The electric horn is absolutely awesome, its so loud you can feel it. Can't wait to blast one of these AZ idiots who can't drive.

Nice! Thanks for bringing this thread over here. I know that was a bit of work copying and pasting each post. You have a few things in this that I'm also going to be doing.

I really like those billet vents. I did consider a pair, but the price is putting me off.
They do look good though, and another member somewhere online was reporting that his under bonnet temperatures dropped using them too...
