Default Led Bulbs

I'm having issues getting 3157k LED bulbs working. Do I need a resistor? They currently don't work at all.
Something like this?

I'm buying all of my bulbs on ebay because they are so cheap. All T10 socket bulbs have worked, so far.

Where are you installing them and what do they claim the black in line box is? I have LED in every interior spot and all around the exterior without issue. Other than my bumper lights blinking opposite of my tail lights when I press the brake. I have learned to like it actually hoping it pull more attention when I am braked so some moron doesn't rear end me.

Every single T10 socket has has zero issues with my SMD bulbs, inside & out.

The issue crops up with my 3057k/3157k sockets. I bought some SMD bulbs for the rear, bumper lights & they just don't work & don't really fit properly either. I tried them in the front, even while applying pressure so there's a connection in the socket.

Here's an example of the listing:
3157 3156 3057 3155 No Error No Flickering LED Bulb Warning Error Decoder K | eBay

Seems like the box is just full of resistors & generates some serious heat.

I'm basically trying to replace all filament bulbs throughout. Any idea of what to buy, other than headlights (i'll look towards your thread for that info)?

Those bulbs look to be more for CAN BUS such as my wifes Jeep Liberty. The newer vehicles computer systems (CAN) throw error codes with LED's due to the lower resistance of LED versus the filament bulbs. Luckily our rigs don't need the resistors as our systems don't mind the LED bulbs.

Let me see if I can dig up where I bought my bumper lights. I want to say the are SMD ceramic substrate bulbs. Just give me a bit and I'll double check for you.

These are the bulbs I purchased:
2 x Pure Red 3157 5050 36 SMD LED Light Bulbs Stop Tail Brake Parking 3057 3457 | eBay

Yeah, let me know. These are next on my list, since upgrading my steering for the H2 is on hold for a little bit of time.

I bought them from DDM Tuning but looking at their site, they changed their site and no longer offer those bulbs.

These should be the same thing:

3157 3057 3457 4157 Ceramic SMD 45 LED Light Bulb White | eBay

I bought the respective colors, should always match LED color and lens color to optimal light output. Red in the lower bumpers and I put the white in the reverse lights. My tails are the aftermarket full LED setup.

Thanks.
Yeah, I bought red & the damn things just don't work in any socket. They won't seat at all & pop out as if they are spring loaded.

I'm going to order these & see if they work for the rear bumper lights:
2 x 3157 3156 Red 60SMD High Power Projector LED Brake Tail Stop Lights Bulbs | eBay

I'll cross my fingers!

I have an update. LED lights don't work, period.
Is this a problem with the 2008/2009 H2s?

I'm wondering if I need that conversion kit.
The bulbs do not want to stay seated & pop out no matter what. Swapping with an known working incandescent bulb works fine in all sockets. I have no clue what's going on at this point.
Before anyone asks, I've tried inserting them in either direction. Neither works. SMDs in every socket on the inside of the vehicle works flawlessly.

I bought some generic 3157 bulbs on ebay and managed to put them in my 09 reverse lamps. They worked ok. I tried to fit them in the rear brake lights, but could never get them to work. I know I needed to have red lens' but i thought i'd try them anyway. Not one worked there, so maybe something else is needed...
