Leaky Sunroof

Leaky Sunroof
So yesterday I was driving on the highway in a bad storm for about an hour and all of a sudden water started to leak on me from the sunroof. I could feel water pooled up in the drain area so I assumed the drains were clogged.
When I got home a checked, the drains were not clogged at all. I even poured several cups of water into both drains and they immediately drained properly.
So my question is what could have caused the water not to drain while I was on the highway? Is it possible that it was raining so hard and with me driving at highway speeds that the drains couldn't keep up? Is it possible that water can be coming in from somewhere else (like the marker lights) and ending up in the sunroof?
When I go home I ran the hose on the roof in all different places and I could not reproduce the problem...
Any thoughts, suggestions, input is appreciated!!!
Thanks
