Default Leaking front roof lights.

Ok, 2008 H2, the front corner roof lights are leaking water. Former owner used silicon so assuming this is the source of water. Will want to fix this the correct way. Can you tell me what I need to do or replace? Guessing this is common.

Default H3 - clear drain tubes

Hummer H3 - try to clear drain tubes in sunroof channel, look at front inside corners of sunroof channel and you can see the drain holes, they may be clogged after several years without maintenance, there are YouTube videos that show how and where. Good Luck

pull the corner roof marker lenses clean whole area get all silicone, etc off wipe with rubbing alchohol or brake clean something like that, pull rubber gromet up that wires come thru, put a beed around hole that rubber grommet pushes into, reinsert rubber grommet let the beed around the hole smoosh out around grommet when you push it in and let it dry just like that, that alone stopped all water leaks for me in that area, if your gasket for lense to roof is bad you may want to replace that or silicone that as well, the gaskets are expensive and hard to find but gasket material to cut your own out is cheap..very cheap alot of stores on ebay sell gasket material for all kinds of applicatons

I would remove the silicon and just replace the foam rubber gaskets under the marker lights. You can pick em up on line for cheap.

Agreed. Found out the hard way. Ordered 2 of them for 50$ from ebay + 30$ shipping to Poland just to silicone the crap out of them anyway.
