just bought a H2, jack is squeaking on bumps

Default just bought a H2, jack is squeaking on bumps

Dealer said they tightened it but it still rattles and squeaks. your thoughts?

if you are talking about the internal tire carrier that holds the jack, make sure the 2 large bolts that bolt into the side wall are tight.

They vibrate loose and squeek... they are approx 24mm... but don't quote me on size. I removed mine a long time ago.

yes that's what I am talking about. But if I remove the carrier, what do I do with the tire? just lay it back there?

I'm not saying remove it.... I'm saying put a socket and ratchet on it and tighten the two bolts...

I removed mine and put it on a rack on the roof...

you might be the stupidest **** I have ever dealt with....

Why in the **** would anybody in their right mind pay a dealer $200 to tighten 2 bolts???

Peggy is more than annoying.

There is actually a thread on the "other" forum that has people listed who sent information to Peggy (yeah I get that its dumb I dont condone it) and complain of scam attempts...

I'm not gonna PM anything to Peggy!
