We have imported one hummer h2 2005 bearing vin 5GRGN23U05H130944 into India which is undergoing customs clearance, we want somebody to help us in decoding its vin for build date & date of first registration since its required by customs to assess the correct customs duty on it. Any help regarding this will be highly appreciated. Thanks.

 

The build month/year is on the door sticker right where it says Made by American General for General Motors. Date of first registration would probably be able to be found on Carfax.

The VIN doesn't get much more specific.
