Has anyone changed the serp belt on their H2 yet? It looks easy enough in the manual, BUUUUUUT...... when you pull the hood forward it is really in the way!!! I may need to park under a tree and lower myself over it! Anyone have an easy solution? Is it easy to remove the entire hood? Thanks all.

When working on my engine I usually just stand on the Core Support. Or you can wedge yourself in between the hood and front bumper. But I am also 6'1" 195lbs....

 

Thanks Ed and HumminNBoatin, I got it done by kneeling on the core support. Takes about 5 mins.

 

No sarcasm intended. The dealer installed mine for $25.00 USD. Took about twenty minutes. Probably the better way to go. They top your fluids and adjust tire pressure too....
