My upper and lower oem rubber bushings are deteriorating on my differential crossmember. Apparently the only available fix is getting a whole new crossmember....seems a little ridiculous for two pieces of rubber. Has anyone done a diy fix? I'm thinking of modifying a poly bushing or cutting a body mount puck to size....does anyone know the exact diameter or height?

 

I just saw a similar post on a different forum. Canadian hummer club. There is a guy named roy. That has just started making the bushings and sells them. It is one of the top threads in the h2 section. If you want to see what it involves. Sorry Don't know how to post links.

I hit their website as I was interested as well but there's only 2 H2 products, neither are those specific bushings.

 

I cut a piece of rubber mat I had laying around and filled the gap on the bottom...I'll see if it holds up....
