With the 8-bolt wheels I read if one of them sheers off they all will. There was actually a mechanic in training here in AZ working on a set some guys bought for their tractors. Tightened one too tight, it sheered and the front plate flew off almost decapitating the guy, obviously he died at the scene.

The best military wheels are the ones in the pics above, the 24 bolt OFFSET wheels. You'll notice the bolts are in pairs for a total of 24. They are the strongest wheels you can find.

Yeah when I order my wheels/tires I will only accept the latest 24 bolt design. This past weekend I was at a corner gas station and there were some national guardsman parked there with Humvee's. Both trucks still had 8 bolt wheels..

^I'm sure they're fine with it as I doubt they're the ones working on those wheels lol. I figured after the cost of the wheels, tires, and high quality spacers I might as well just go aftermarket with a common 17" wheel.

Post pics when you get them and install those bad boys!

Same size as stock, 315/70/17 but on a 9" wide wheel so I think that plays into why they are taller. Hopefully I can still get out of the garage once I put them on lol.

I found one pair of spacers on sale with the correct hub diameter for the H2's. That way at least the spacers would be hub centric. They're over $250 for a pair though so you're looking close to $600 for a set of 4. You kind of don't want to cheap out when it comes to spacers from what I've read. Most will work but for the long run you want quality stuff.

I found the thread from STL Zombie Hunter, he used 2".
The trail sport ones have good reviews on pirate4x4.
Serious off roaders on there, and I wont be doing near that craziness.
I got the same rims/tires as he.
