Gear changes on H2
Hi all,
Can anyone help me with my 2003 H2,
I just want to confirm how other H2's change gear. When I start moving the momentum is quite slow and I kind of treat the gas pedal very lightly waiting for the opportunity to ease back off the pedal to encourage the change to second gear. If I just keep my foot down on the gas the change to second gear takes place at around 4000 revs and it seems quite a thirsty and noisey way for the H2 to drive. As this is my first H2 I just want to confirm this is normal, all other gear changes feel normal it's just this first to second change that I need to double check. Is the gearbox also meant to kick down in a hurry if I put foot down hard on the gas?
any feedback will be appreciated!!!!!

Start with your programming. I did a few mods to the intake, exhaust and engine and really was bogging down in my lower gears. Like you described. I had Black Bear Performance tune and program the engine and it took car of everything. It runs like a beast now.
