Default Cluster problem PLEASE HELP!!!

Ok my cluster is not working on some of my gauges so I want to buy a (used) one with same amount of miles ish ..... Once I get one out of another hummer, is it a plug and play or do I have to take to dealer to get programmed???

Also lets say I have 70k miles and get one with 80k miles is the 80k going to show up or 70 k that my truck had?

I know for a fact that there is a place in denver who will sell you a rebuilt one and you can have it set to your current mileage. Ive sold em when I worked at Tires Plus in Thornton, Co. Im sorry I dont remember the name of the vendor but the manager at that store might be able to help you.

I am pretty sure they can program your cluster. If they plug that used one up, it will show the mileage out of the old one.

I know you said you already have a cluster, but keep in mind that guy on eBay in Oklahoma that does repair. I have used him and he is very good. You ship him your cluster (as fast as you want . . . I used FedEx). He repairs it and ships it back to you THE NEXT DAY!

Thanks again , but my concern was about the miles if I install another used one which miles will work? and if I crank it up will it or needs to be programed in order to crank and drive. The one I bought I can't return this is better off this way then starting over.

Miles are in the cluster, you will need to have it programmed to match your old one. Its plug and play so it will function perfectly fine with the exception of your mileage being incorrect.
