thanx for the input guys.
I got my carbon fiber looking trim off ebay. GM oem parts, quality really good.
BTW, for dr.drew2: did u have hard time to install the rear piece (for rear seats AC vent and radio control). there is a plastic pocket under rear climate control which not screwed but melted in. how did u fix this problem??

can you heat up where the plastic joint is.. you should be able to sperate it there.
then reattach using two part epoxy.

^correct I read in another thread you have to melt those points then glue in the pocket to the new trim piece

I've seen that kit on ebay for an eternity now but the sellers comment of the pieces being scratched has always deterred me.

Were your pieces scratched at all?

Default dash kits

I had one piece that was scratched very slightly. but it was not bad enough to upset me. I put the carbon fiber dash kit in. The hardest part about the whole thing was pushing the little white buttons in the release the steel rods that retain the passenger grab rail working around the passenger dash airbag

Mine only have one tiny scratch on the middle piece near the right side air vent.
everything looks great. and yes, the passenger side handle bar is tricky, but after take off the glove box and panel near the door jam, it's not that hard.

They must be getting down to the last of that stock. All my carbon fiber panels came loaded w/ all buttons, vents, 12volt, plastic pocket on rear of center console.
