What a Joke. I to was working on my 2004 H2, disconnected the battery and now it will only blow thru the defrost vent....SNAP !!!!!
seems you can read this problem all over the web, what gives ?
Does disconnecting the battery fail parts, the actuator under the drivers side by the gas pedal ?
only way I can get it to blow thru the regular vent is to push the entire flap package all the way up.
Shud down the engine and it's back to the defroster when you turn everything back on.
do the battey disconnect and reconnect starting 3 time with no luck.
any Ideas, relearn procedure without going to the dealer ?
replace a part that was working fine for years ?

 

Purchased the new actuator from AutoZone....73.00 and arrives on the 16th @ 3:00, should take about 20 min to slap it in, Hope that's it, can't see it being anything else as all I did was disconnect the battery for 5 min.......
