Default Airdoc tube

Has anyone attempted to use the Airdoc tube with other intakes such as the Volant box? I've finally made my decision to go with the Volant but I can't stand the plastic tube. I'm curious if anyone has tried pairing it up with the Airdoc tube. The Airdoc replaces the factory tube and the Volant box replaces the stock box and allows the stock tube to connect to it. That being said technically the Airdoc tube should work fine correct??

Any input would be great, thanks again guys!

It would work without a doubt. Jeff uses couplings that are very tight fitting and clamps that don't let go. The tube looks great... it attaches at the MAF so as long as you plan on using that... you are golden...

Here is a close look at mine....

The Volant airbox with filter and a prefilter have been ordered but still awaiting the shipping confirmation. I ordered on Wednesday so I'm sure the holiday has everything backed up.

As for the tube, once I get the volant in my hands I will be able to confirm the tube will work with the box then I'll throw in my order. Just want to be 100% certain (even though technically it should).

I'll post up some pics when everything is installed!

I got a PM about my pictures... Yes... those are two different engines.... I installed the Airdoc on both my H2 and my wife's H2. Good catch on the missing alternator in one of the pics.

I also used AFE filters... on both...

Got the tune installed today..and WOW. HUGE difference in power. Gained just over 2 seconds from 20-60mph as well. Gas mileage is much better now. I saw 15's while on the hwy today. I didn't see that good of #'s when I had the 35's on, let alone the 37's.
