Default Power steering high pressure pin

Hey community. I tried to replace my power steering pump today and the spring shot the pin out of the high pressure hose inlet and I don't know which way it goes back in. I can't find any diagram. It has a filter-looking end and a pin end. I know the spring goes in first but what end of that pin goes in first?

Thanks for any help!

I figured this one out. You put the pressure pin in so the pin is coming through the coupling. That was a big mistake. Ugh!
