Default Hummer h2 transmission flush do you do this service or don't you?

I haven't done this service on none of my vehicles and my transmissions have shifted fine. I'm a little nervous to have this service done because i have heard stories of transmissions leaking and major problems. Have you had the any problems after this service?????

I flushed and filled my H3 transmission at about 126K miles. If it leaks there are problems that should be fixed. The fluid, especially transmission fluid, should not cause leaks.

Well, I had mine flushed and the filter and fluid changed out. I have a 2005 H2 SUT with a supercharger and 69,000 miles on it. Judging from the accessories and add ons and the condition I figured the original owner did regular check ups and changes. I always heard (from a mechanic) that once a vehicle got up close to 100,000 miles that if the tranny fluid hadn't been changed, you best leave it alone. The manual says to change it at 50,000 miles and the chevy dealer said 30,000 in this area (Montana). I took a chance and had it done. I wasn't having problems and I'm still not, but it has only been about 2 weeks.

Thanks, My H2 as 101,XXX miles on and when I bought it last March it had 79,xxx on it. And now the last two oil changes I've had the mechanics have said i need a transmission flush. I think im gonna just leave it alone.

Just a little advice. At the back of the owners manual there is the service intervals.

I had 50,000 miles on my Ford powered motorhome last summer when I took it to the Advance Transmission place for a check up.

The manager told me that the codes looked good, and the fluid was looking good. He said if it was his he wouldn't do anything, just keep on driving it.

I am a new H2 owner and new the site so I had mine done at the dealer. I was told there are two filters (I could be mistaking but that is what I recall at 7 am). Anyway, had the service done and no leaks, shifts great, etc.

I have an 06 H2 and just had it done along with the transfer case. A Hummer is all about the trannie and transfer case. You really want to do this to protect your investment. It is recommended by Hummer for good reason.
