My low tire signal intermittently comes on and off. This happens almost every single time I drive. The signal comes on for like 5 minutes then goes away. The sensors are working fine, and tire pressure in each tire is exactly the same (40 psi). I have already done the process in the manual to have the SUV re-learn the sensors.
I am pretty sure it is the computer system that is causing this intermittent low tire signal to keep coming on.

Can I re-flash the computer system myself? How much would a dealership charge to re-flah or re-set the computer system? any other suggestion?

 

You are unable to reflash or change the tire pressure setting in the ECM without a Tech2 scanner. I guess it happens in the cool mornings at first start up driving down the road. Set the pressures at 35 psi which is the manufactures setting. I would say it's around 60 to 80 dollars to hook up the Tech2 and check the readings and if needed to reset.
