How much of a pain is it to replace bulbs in the dash modules? I just got my 05 H2 and see that the defrost, the 4 high and the rear posi lock don't illuminate.

Are there any good, do it yourself, manuals on the market for the H2

 

I replaced all my bulbs with LED's a while back because I had a few lights out in the climate control. Basically all of the factory bulbs are soldered in and most of the bulbs have small plastic bases on them. You can buy replacement bulbs on ebay, tear everything down, and get to soldering.


Honestly it is not an impossible job just time consuming to figure out how everything comes apart. Just be very careful, I fried the light circuit on my CD player which was why I swapped it for factory nav.
