move to hawaii. it rains a lot there, for part of the day anyway, so you'll be happy they come on by themselves. otherwise, no idea, but probably something loose in the switch on the column.

i think that it would have to be a short, or (the better case) the switch.

I think there's some type of modulator near the wiper motor that's shorting out and makes it turn on or go wild. I'll research it and post again later.

Most likely the contacts inside the motor case have become corroded since the motor is not waterproof. Usually happens if it's rained a lot or your H2 has really been submerged! Once the contacts become corroded, they short out and they start going by themselves. Also happens if the washer fluid runs down the wiper motor, too. There might be a service bulletin out on this.

My truck does the same thing!! I've noticed that the dealer spilled plenty of wiper fluid down the side of the continer. Also, this started happening during the recent rain we've had here in Los Angeles. Did anyone figure out what the problem was. If so, what modular do I need to change?

Well the module comes with the motor and the motor comes with
the transmission......so unless your transmission is damaged there is no
reason to replace it due to the malfuction of the module.Just replace the motor.

I hope that made sence?
