Why do you own a Hummer H3 over other SUV's?

Vote on the main reason you purchased a Hummer H3...   If you have another reason, post up!

Actually, all the choices are valid reasons why I picked my H3. But I voted for looks and styling as primary!

I don't have a 3, but i initially bought my 2 for THE LOOKS!!!!

The H3 looks cool and it's safe too!

If you want safe get a Volvo, if you want cool get a HUMMER

I think the poll would have been better with multiple selections
Looks is cool but if it's junk I wouldn't buy it.

I bought it for offroading but the looks and styling was a factor also. 

I selected versatility, but not sure that covers it. Choice was becasuse of towability behind an RV, ability to carry passengers and luggage, and ability to tow a trailor. In that order, and then looks and styling. Practical first then cool.

I feel very safe in my H3!

Were's the "all the above" choice?

There's not too many of them & they look damn good.

I agree 100% !!!

Around me there everywhere.  I cannot go to the grocery store without seeing one or two, but I still love it.

I have a 2.... but I like them for safety

Overall, it is a safe reliable vehicle but I could get that elsewhere. I mix up the Lexus and Nissan Morano; Trailblazer and Envoy, etc... all of the time. But, when you see a Hummer you know it's a Hummer!

The looks and styling are the main reason. The looks from others, and you know that it's safe also. I love my H3X!!!!
And not everyone has one (just echoing the previous statement)

Well, my official answer was safety but my top two reasons weren't options.
 
1) It's one of three reasonable priced 4 door SUVs available with a manual transmission.
 
2) Pricing/ rebates / financing made it a killer deal.
 
3) It's safer than a Wrangler and more appropriate off road than a BMW.
 

I rolled my Trailblazer on a mountin road, So I needed a new SUV, In my price range this was  ( in my mind) the best choice,  and the saferst choice, I doubt will I roll my H3
I did almost get the Trailblazer SS but the mpg would have killed me.
 
I find people think it costs just as much as a volvo, bmw, range rover, lexus -    but reality is the H3 is a lot less.  I priced an X3 and is was more than the H3 and those are tiny.
 
I would check all of the above.

Oh yeah, it is a real GM truck and the price was, and still is, right.   Trailblazer/envoy is a station wagon, did not want a pick up, Tahoe...Burb too big.  So I got a 3.
