Sorry to bring up an old thread, but this is the setup I'm wanting to switch to soon. Right now I have 20" Mazzi Hulks with 35's or 37's. I forgot. I was wondering how much they stick out? (mine stick out a couple inches now and I wanna keep that look cause I think it looks meaner that way). And also, if you don't mind me asking, how much did you pay? Cheapest I've got quoted was about $3500 + tax and everything else

the rims are 24`s and the tires are 38`s......Yes they do stick out a couple of inches. And yes it does look mean as F***.   I had mine shipped to my shop, already mounted and balanced ready to bolt on for $4000.00... So $3500. sounds like like a pretty good price to me

That's not bad. The only bad thing is I need a 5th tire, so that's another ~ $1k

These babies will throw a ton of mud on your rig due to the bad offset, sandbalst your paint, and will tear out your inner plastic fenders if they ever rub. But you already knew that, right?

Other than that, they look very nice and mean!

Bob...Have you ever used one of these tire calculators?
http://www.1010tires.com/TireSizeCalculator.asp

Just setup to factory stock tires 315/70R17 and enter new tire config, and you should see an estimated difference in speed.

Thanks... I brought this up because years ago i got stopped for speeding and did not realize the owner of the car that i borrowed had changed the tires and size.. Fortunately I got away with it because I was honet with the officer and told him what happened and we finally figured it out.... Using the calculator you sent me here is what I found out if you are going 60 mph ...
Stock 17's = 60
20's = 55.1  Speedometer Difference: 8.730% too slow
22's = 52.3  Speedometer Difference: 14.55% too slow
24's = 49.8  Speedometer Difference: 20.36% too slow

So... if you are showing 60mph  on 24's you actually are going about 72.. if my calculations are right

All 20's, 22's, 24's, etc... will not calculate to those numbers...many tire sizes can be used for the different wheel size combinations.

Thanks for the welcome. Those are the new Khumo MTs, if I'm not mistaken, and I've seen them hold their own offroad. If you ever get a chance you should try them out.

That's TRUE!!!! It depends on the total diameter of the RIM + TIRE!!!
