Took my H2 in for repairs on Saturday. This morning they called me and said that it was done and that they would bring it out to me at work. That's cool. Now let me preface this next sentence by letting you all know that I even polish the wheel wells. So I get it back just 5 minutes ago, and the wheel wells are all filled up with MUD!! Apparently, someone took the liberty to go 4 wheeling over the weekend in my rig.

Man am I pissed!!

Do you remember the milage on it when you brought it in or is it on the write up slip.

That' s a good idea. I thought of that after the fact. I will have to look to see if they put the mileage on the repair order. If I wanted mud all over it I would have liked to have done it myself.

That's great. I think that I need to impress upon my dealership the same thing. I'm sure that it won't happen again. In fact, I'm kinda cooling down abit. I certainly wouldn't want anyone to get in trouble over it. Instead I think tha I'll just go out and kick

their azz. LOL!!

Is it real off-roading MUD, or just dirt and grease from the road that may have splattered up on a test-driven rainy day?

If you went to cochran, the in/out mileage will be on the repair order. How long did they have it, and what was done?

I'll check it. Thanks. By the way, I was hoping to get to drive an H3, but they gave me an 04 h2 that smelled like cigarettes.

I never got the H2 as a loaner. I didn't even know they had one.

it is so pathetic that someone responsible for safeguarding and repairing your truck, took that kind of advantage.....so how are you to feel enough confidence to ever leave it in that place again.

what kind of repair was it in for? If it was a transfer case or other 4wheel drive componant, they may have taken it to an off road test course to road test it.

It was in to have the 2 month old battery replaced.

That is really messed up then. Maybe they wanted to test the shock resistance of the new battery...........

Yeah maybe. And to answer one of your questions from above, it was mud.

SD...Give them a call and find out..it's your right to know why your vehicle was caked in mud underneath, when I'm supposing their parking lot is all asphalt...This ain't right!

Dennis, I did speak with them and their reply was that, "it could not have happened here". Well I told them it did. There's mud all underneath it. Really ticks me off ya know. I even shine up the wheel wells and they had the audacity to tell me that maybe I did it. i'm not one to get into a fight about it, so I guess that's that.

I'm glad I went down to check on mine when they had it for 2 weeks. Everything was fine. When I got it back, they had it washed and put gas in it.

Somebody taking your $60k SUV on a joy ride is a BIG deal. It's not like you are complaining about something that wasn't fixed properly. Technically, somebody stole your truck and took it for a drive who knows where. You need to jack it up and see if there are any scratches or damaged parted on your chasis. I would be really ticked.
