This might be a dumb question, but I looked it up in the owners manual, and it didn't say what it was...anyway on my rearview mirror I have the compass and temp indicator. Well when it reads in the 30 degree area it will flash ICE. Does that mean that the roads may be icy and I should watch out.....or does it mean something else.......?

Just means that it's cold enough to freeze out and gives you a warning.

I'm pretty sure "ice" stands for "internet connection eminent". It has something to do with onstar.

Did you know that you're supposed to put that in your cell phone too. ICE=In Case of Emergency. If you get into an accident that is what they look for in your contacts now. It's supposed to be the number that you would want called ICE.

and it doesn't do a damn bit of good when you pull out in front of 8000lbs of Hummer, get T-boned, and the phone you were just on gets ejected and run over by another Hummer...

It is GM's reminder that we are now all too friggin stupid to know that if the temp is below freezing...............there might be some ice???
