I bet it looks great ….but a 17% reduction in visible light output……
Would you have to run with your hi-beams on all the time to compensate?

Here in BC, it is against the law to put any kind of covering or film over your headlights. I have smoked headlight covers for my Camaro and the police have stopped me before and warned me about them. Luckily mine can pop off easily. Ironically, the same law that defines this also means you cannot even install CLEAR covering over your lights, so rock protecters such as a thick plastic stick on or the plastic shields are also illegal, albeit much harder for them to notice.

I don't think it would look good on a HUMMER..Smoked out headlamps just doesn't fit the HUMMER style IMO..And I agree with Gunner..I don't want to sacrifice any light at all for sake of day time coolness looks...
