New to the forum. I own a Civil Engineering Co. in Central Florida. I know the market is slow, but we are busy as hell. I do a large amount of commercial and industrial projects. Money is ok if you like to work your ass off, but I enjoy the projects and clients I deal with. Plus my bro owns a micro brew and he brews some great beer that helps me relax at the end of the day.

I'll get some pics up soon.

05 H2 SUT, Desert Sand, no bling.

I only shoot glock 45's, 12 gauges (pheasants only), rifles, and homemade stuff. I only go paintballing to make sure I can still run an shoot in case of a war because you never know lol. I also like to watch people get hit ha but not in a psycho way.

2006 Boulder Gray H3 Adv pkg with a few add-ons and BFG 315/75/16 AT's on stock rims. This is my daily driver and work truck.

Thanks.

Been looking for some good trails in Florida near Orlando, found a couple of decent ones, but nothing compares to the 2,000 acres my family owns in Mississippi. Almost 200 feet of relief across some areas of the property. Lots of fun, but I only get to go about once or twice a year. I am a Louisiana native originally and grew up in the swamps so I love to play in the mud and lovin the hummer.

Not long ago, on an arrest report that was being filed out, there is a block for "occupation". The person in question was well known, so "Drug Dealer" was put in the block. A week later, it was kicked back from a supervisor for not being politically correct. A little white out was used, and it was returned with the occupation being listed as "Street Pharmacist". The report hasn't been seen since.

A little twist of words is all it takes. I just heard a commercial, and what used to be called "Food Stamps", is now called "Nutrition Assistance"

Everybody/everything has to have a title. The things were called foodstamps for 40 years, is that not politically correct enough. Next thing you know we will be calling kleenex mucous blankets. Geez

In the military (particulary on USAF bases) they don't call them barracks anymore, they are know "bachelor's quaters" and "bachelorette quaters"

The Mess Hall is now called a "Dinning Facility". Mess Hall offended the cooks, apparently they haven't eaten there

There isn't a secretary in any of our offices, they are all Administrative Assistants, our housekeeping company supervisor has a card that says Sanitation Engineer...have to be a hundred more examples...lets hear them.

Maybe we should start another thread for this. I think we are hijacking this one. Sorry

Probably should be in Off Topic also.

Might be an interesting thread. Hijacking is such a harsh word and we are still talking about a related topic....I'm rationalizing here aren't I?

I heard a contractor refer to his laborers who do manual and hand digging as his personal excavation specialist. Go figure, even the low wage earners and hard laborers have a glorified title. I am shure he sleeps better at night by giving him a better title and I am sure the laborer, enjoys his job more with a nice shiny title.
