Dumb question, I know....but I'm sure the color has a "real" name, other than burgundy, as posted in my signature. That's what the sales guy called it, so I went with it...It's a 2004. Hope the pic comes through....

It's hard to tell from the little sample colors, but it looks closest to the Victory Red to me. I saw a pic of a Sunset orange and I don't think it's that one.

call the dealer with your vin #...........They should be able to tell you if it is the limited edition........as I understand it, that color was only used on the limited edition. I would tend to think that it's not, because whoever sold it to you would have used that as a selling point and to up the price............either way, you got a great looking ride!

Thanks for the info...I'm on a mission now to find out what the official color is. We bought it from a dealer in NJ and the sales guy just said the color was discontinued

I'd say with 99.65% confidence that's the Limited Ed. Victory Red.
here's a pic of the other "reds" that were mentioned (Sunset Orange, and Twilight Maroon Metallic)

Hope you can find out for sure. Our Victory Red shows up darker sometimes and brighter at other times. Depending on the lighting and angle. Though not knowing for sure, I'd say it looks a lot like the Victory Red.

It would seem to me that there should be a tag somewhere that has the color information in code. Call the dealer, find out where the tag is, and read them the color code, and they should be able to tell you what color it is.

My husband has to take it to the dealer on Tues. The driver side mirror won't retract.....anyway..I thought it would be the perfect opportunity to inquire about the color. Truthfully, it doesn't matter, but my curiosity has the best of me now

http://www.lynchhummer.com/h2pages/colors.2/colors.html that link might be of aid in sorting out which color it is.
I think a brilliant sports-car red H2 would be about as good as vehicular life gets (this is a side note, i guess), and i'm considering having mine painted red if i wind up needing to have it painted...

Look inside the glove box. The paint code is on the inside cover.
