Whats really great about this forum is that you are able to get info on parts that could cross reference with other vehicles, there are some significant savings there..Not to forget the people that offer there help here to point that out...Thank you.....So I was just thinking, is there one in place already or can we come up with a link to a page that could tell members what parts can be used in our trucks but that are readily available for other vehicles..

I think flashoffroad has a parts crossreference as well -- both are invaluable resourses.

I didn't see starters on that list. Aren't there other starters that will work on the H1 than the factory OEM?

I'm not sure, I"ll do a search on the hml -- me thinks some are water-proof, and some aren't. Mine is a rebuilt one, had it in the truck about 3 yrs.
