I filled up yesterday from 1/2 tank..only in city driving. I have the K&N cold air intake, plus a cat-back exhaust and my mileage was 15.5 MPG

Thanks Dennis. Yeah the storms went around my neighborhood. But it hit about 5 miles away tho. It was weird. I just seen a little rain and some hail and that was about it. But it tore up nashville pretty good. :(
That is a kool looking shelter

Wouldnt a strong tornado rip the sheet metal roof off of the bus and blow you out ?

i would cover up the top with about 3 feet of dirt and grass and make it alot harder to rip it off. some of my neighbors do have the real storm shelters and they are really nice .air and I think they spent around 7000 worth it cause we are in open area with alot of land and need it.I wish I had one.

I watched the May 3rd, 1999 twister from my back door 1/2 miles away, (Moore Oklahoma) that set a world record for wind speeds (F5+) and length of time on the ground...Since then, almost everyone has put in a fraidy hole somewhere on their property..Because that storm did in fact opened up a below ground storm shelter and sucked an entire family right out of the ground...So We are thinking about putting one in the garage floor..You can park your car over it when not in use..hopefully we'll never have to use it.

..Funny thing..back in the 60's, we use to call them BOMB shelters

..I think I'll have a nice Cuban cigar now
