Is $1048 a good price for 4 BFG M/T 315-75-16, balanced and mounted? Who has a better price?

I paid 807$ delivered freight to my door for 4 ProComp 315/75/16. It was buy 3 get 1 free deal at the time. 60$ more to put em on. But that price looks pretty much right for that tire.

I agree. That price looks about right. If there is a place that has it cheaper it probably wouldn't make difference enough to purchase it elsewhere.
Procomp tires are easier to get and there are lots of places that give you good deals on them.

I am looking for the strongest construction in a tire and figured that since BFG won EVERY off road rally they must be tough. I know they are a 3 ply sidewall. What is the Toyo?
